Kathleen Winkler

Kathleen Winkler was born in 1933 in Cork, Ireland to Daniel and Mary O’Sullivan. She died February 7, 2022 in Converse, Texas surrounded by family.

She married Paul Winkler, from Illinois, on July 4, 1953 in Chelmsford, England. The two were married for 54 years, before her husband Paul passed in 2008.

She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

She is survived by children: Geneva Winker of Florida; Teresa (Charles) Akers of Texas; Rowena Cady of New Mexico, Paul (Christina) Winkler II of Texas.

Kathleen was a grandmother to 9 grandchildren: Angela Winkler, Sean Akers, Matthew Akers, Reese Cady, Riley Cady, Kobe Winkler, Kaylyn Winkler, Devyn Winkler, Paul Winkler III, and Ryan Winkler.

She was also great grandmother to Connor Akers, Abigail Akers, and Isaiah Winkler.

Kathleen loved to travel, required a good cup of tea, in her early days maybe a Gin and Tonic. She was an avid Irish Catholic. She loved to play bingo and on occasion visit a casino. But most of all she loved her family and the time she spent with them.
