Kay Jo Ann Walker

Kay Jo Ann Walker entered into the hands of our Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the age of 83. Born in Lockwood, Missouri on October 23, 1934, she moved with her family to California when she was 13. Her mother and father were evangelists and Jo Ann joined them singing gospels at a very early age. She and Charlie, her husband of 68 years, moved to San Antonio in 1951. Jo Ann worked at many of the financial institutions for 30 years. She attended Community Bible Church and her faith was an integral part of her life. She had a natural talent for interior decorating and loved beautifying her home and helping friends with theirs. Jo Ann loved life, laughter and gospel music.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Julius White. She is survived by her husband, Charlie, daughter Debbie and husband Solomon Abdo, son Greg Walker, granddaughter Aransas and husband Thomas Reyes, sister Lenora DeLemos, brothers Gary White, Aaron White, Sam White and their families.

The family would be grateful if in lieu of flowers a memorial donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
