Kaylyn Coriano, age 28, of San Antonio, Texas was born at Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas to Marcos and Dereliz Coriano. The family moved seven six times for the military before arriving at San Antonio in 2009, where Kaylyn settled down after her parents moved to Germany on assignment. She enjoyed life on her own for the first time. She graduated with honors from the St. Philip’s College with an Associates in Applied Science and was proud to have become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She was passionate about her work and determined to make a difference to all her patients. She was kind and compassionate, gentle and direct when needed. She was an artist and loved crafting, often making her own costumes or stuffed animals for her favorite extended nephews. She was adventurous and loved to bike, dance and travel. Kaylyn had a fun loving spirit, a special person who made a room light up with her smile and brought out the best in people.
Kaylyn is survived by her parents, her brother, Marcos, family in Puerto Rico, New York, Massachusetts and Florida. She made an impact on those whose lives she touched with her unique flavor of life. She loved and was dearly loved by many, she will be missed by everyone who came to know her.
