Keith Curtis Cross

December 22, 1978 — December 5, 2022

Keith Curtis Cross, 43 passed away peacefully on December 5, 2022, after a battle with esophageal cancer in the care of Christus Santa Rosa Hospice. Keith most recently worked as a driver for MV (VIA) transportation services in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Covington Holmes High School in Covington, Kentucky.

Keith lived his life filled with love, laughter, joy, passion for sports, and music. He never met a stranger he soon wouldn't call a friend; he was loyal to family and friends alike, and he took care of everyone.  To all that knew him, he was always there for us.  One call of his name and he would be with you in a heartbeat.  His approach to everything was larger than life--always seeking the next great adventure, traveling from one part of the country to another. He loved the beach, fishing and Texas. The Dallas Cowboys now have another super fan on their side in heaven.

Keith is survived by his partner of 14 years, Joan Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, his parents Joe and Tina Cross of Covington, KY; his sister Gina Cross of Washington, DC; his brother Joe Cross Jr along with his wife Destiny and their five children of Independence, KY. Keith is also survived by a large but close extended family in Texas and Kentucky. He will also be missed by Rico, his beloved chihuahua who laid by his side until his last day.

Celebration of life services will be held in Houston, Texas before the year’s end and in Northern Kentucky after the new year.
