Kim Alves Rice

Kim Alves Rice was born September 11, 1947 in New Braunfels, Texas to Judge Clarence Rice and Melba Alves Rice. He died September 11, 2008 at home in New Braunfels after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Hale Rice and children Samuel Scott Rice, Sheri Rice Kracht and husband Richard, Lori Rice and the love of his life, his grandchildren, Madelyn Hope Harrison Max Kracht. He is also survived by a sister Shirley Hahn of Fredericksburg, a sister-in-law brother-in-law, Sue and Gary Wittenborn of New Braunfels, numerous cousins and many close and dear friends.

His life was the best expression of himself and those who knew him knew what a kind and loving person he was. We will all miss him.

A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Senior Citizens Center on Landa Street.

Memorials may be given to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels or the charity of ones choice.
