Larry “Pops” was born to Ray Milton and Lillian Marie Brown in San Antonio, Texas. Pops led a life full of adventure and came full circle passing peacefully near his original home on the South side of San Antonio. A man of love, strength and forgiveness, Pops lived life on his own terms and never met a stranger. If you ever met him you loved him and guaranteed he loved you. From son to grandson, to lumberjack in the mountains of Montana, Pops was loving father, cherished grandfather, friend, uncle, & cousin, he wore many feathers in his hat and he wore them proudly. Larry was proceeded in death by his parents Ray and Lillian Brown; succeeded by sons Jesse and Colby Brown, daughter Barbara Shafer granddaughters Myra and Hannah Brown, Tara and Leah Shafer; grandson Nick Shafer; many, many friends and relatives; a couple in laws, and a few outlaws. We invite anyone who ever crossed paths with our Pops to come celebrate his life on Sunday October 21, at McAllister Park (San Antonio) pavilion #2 around 1:00pm.
