Laura Fite

Laura Jean Fite, age 47, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 5, 2020.

Laura was born to Dave and Roberta Peterson on October 19, 1973, was baptized and confirmed at King of Kings Lutheran Church. She graduated from James Madison High School in 1992, spending much of her time in the Choral program. She studied music at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Some of Laura's life-long friends are from the Madison and UTSA Choral programs.

Laura regarded her daughter Emerson as the apple of her eye and focused much of her attention and energy to providing Emerson with a loving, caring, supportive home life.

Laura had worked with the American Red Cross, Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas and commercial property management companies. She frequently talked about her time with the Girl Scouts and how much she enjoyed coordinating the annual nut and cookie sales.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Emerson Fite, parents, Dave and Roberta Peterson, brothers, Greg Peterson (Becky) and Tony Peterson (Anna), sister, Julie Peterson, along with extended family and many friends.
