Laura M. Keathley

July 3, 1916 — July 12, 2013

Laura Matilda Wilder Keathley went to be with our Lord on July 12, 2013. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Norris Keathley, her brothers, Floyd and Jack Wilder, her sisters, June Sutherland and Jeanette Wilder, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, E.V. “Buddie” Bond Jr and Bonnie Bond. Born on July 3, 1916 in Duluth MN, she moved to Texas as a youth. Throughout her life, Laura took pride in her cooking and all those who were fortunate enough to dine at her table could attest to her skills. Naturally a giving person, she always put others first. She is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Keathley and Nancy Keathley, her grandchildren, Sam Cunningham, Tim Cunningham, Jimmy Ogg and his wife Summer, five great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Laura asked for donations to be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project. www.woundedwarriorproject.org
