Lelon G Cude

Lelon Guy Cude, Jr., born May 4, 1934, passed from this life on January 28, 2023, at the age of 88. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lelon Guy Cude, Sr. and Thelma Heisler Cude. Lelon is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Elaine Davis Cude; devoted daughters Carol Wenzel (Gary), and Terri Marcum (Dwayne); loving grandchildren Brandon Wenzel (Michelle), Tyler Wenzel (Erin), Chad Wenzel, Amber Hampton (Ryan), Ashley Castle (Michael), and Autumn Riley; great grandchildren Donovan, Daelynn, Parker, Summer, Skyler, Olivia, Piper, Jack, Jadis, Phadra, and Lelon Michael; sister Charmaine Wall; half siblings Tommy Guy Cude and Lelo Beth Cude; numerous nieces and nephews including Randy Davis, Diane Woodward, Billy Wall; many other loving family members, friends and neighbors. Lelon was a kind and gentle person who loved the Lord above all, adored his family and friends, and had many interesting talents. In his professional life, he was a successful accountant and upon retirement, worked for Walmart in sporting goods and hardware for 15 years. He was an accomplished artist with many of his oil paintings gracing the walls of loved ones. Along with his wife, they hand made beautiful porcelain dolls - their craftsmanship was superb. He was also an avid photographer, especially enjoying photographing birds and nature. His photos appeared on the cover of his community news magazine. He loved his dogs and cat and received much joy from them. He led a full and blessed life and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed, but we rejoice that he has received his eternal life in heaven.
