Leticia Irene Briones

Leticia Irene Briones, born February 6, 1952, passed from this life on February 17, 2014 at the age of 62. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Briones. Leticia is survived by her father, Jose R. Briones Sr., affectionately referred to as “El Teco”; sons Aaron Nathaniel Garcia, Jacob John Joseph Garcia, Tony Tohon Running Cougar Garcia, and Toban-Tyonek Garcia; daughters Sunshine Gesenia Garcia, and Zara Mellicent Garcia; brothers Jose R. Briones Jr. (Diana), Edward Briones (Sylvia R. Bush), Carlos H. Briones (Crystal J.), and Javier J. Briones (Rachel L.); sister Diana Huron; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews, and other family members. Leticia, who was called “mi Chaparra” by her father, was a child of the sixties who unselfishly left that lifestyle behind to care for her ailing parents. She loved classic rock, and Harley Davidson’s. Her life revolved around God, family, and children. Leticia was a free spirit who had a passion for living life, she will be missed dearly.
