My grandma loved and cared for anyone who came across her path. If someone needed help, she’d give them a ride, a meal a few dollars, what ever they needed. She loved to laugh and had a good sense of humor. She ofter had us in tears from laughter. She always looked like a Southern lady, dressed well with her hair and nails done. She loved flowers…growing them in her yard and arranging artificial ones. One of her favorites was roses. The flower arrangements she made were absolutely beautiful. She loved to take care of her family and was an excellent cook. She took the time to sit and play barbies with me when I was little and make barbie clothes out of old socks and a pair of scissors. She always made sure the grandchildren were entertained and taken care of. She wanted people to have fun. She encouraged people in her later years with a prayer, bible verse or encouraging words. She was the kind of person people would open up to and tell their life story to. She was a warm, loving, generous lady. Her faith was very strong and she loved Jesus, his Word and prayer was a part of her daily life.
