Lisa Lynn Cruz

Lisa Lynn Cruz was born October 4, 1962 and left us November 26, 2011. She is daughter to Michael W Smith, and JoClaire Moser Smith. She is survived by her sisters Marcie Ann Perme and Celia Guzman, and daughters Stephanie Alexis Cruz and Analisa Lynn Cruz. Lisa worked as an IT technician for Marriott hotels, BAMC, and Fort Sam Houston. As many of those close to her know she loved to spend her time with friends, horses and most of all her trusty books. She was an avid participant in the community participating in such organizations as Western Pleasure Parade, and English and Rodeo competition as a young woman. She was also involved in Alamo Empire, TGRA (Texas Gay Rodeo), Gay Pride SA, Pride Fest SA, Lifetime member of San Antonio Live Stock and Rodeo, We are Alive, San Antonio Food Foundation, San Antonio Gay Dart league, and San Antonio Gay Pool League. Needless to say she did it all, and made sure to give them her all. She was a loving daughter, mother, and friend. Through all of her trials and tribulations she still stood strong. She was confidant, determined, and dedicated to beat the disease that took her from this world. No more Chemotherapy, no more Radiation, no more pain, no more suffering. She is now skydiving, rocky mountain climbing, and living to the fullest in heaven riding around on her horse. MOM, you were cherished by many, loved by all! We are sorry you had to leave this physical world, but we all know you are happy and free now, The heavens have just received a wonderful beautiful kind hearted spirited woman, The heavens cry now for you! We love you and will miss seeing your face, hearing your voice, and reading your text messages!!! :* Kisses for you for always!!!
