Lorenzo J Reyes

Lorenzo J Reyes, 43, of San Antonio, Texas died Thursday April 18th, 2024 after complications from pneumonia. He was born Monday, March 9th, 1981 in Weslaco, Texas.

Lorenzo graduated from Benson High School in 2000 and joined the Army National Guard from 1999-2007. He loved wrestling, football, baseball, and soccer; he also enjoyed camping with his grandparents and cousins in Arizona. Lorenzo was in the process of obtaining his Associates in Audio and Filming at Northwest Vista College with the desire to pursue his Bachelors degree. One of his happiest moments was upon opening a Time Lapse Studio with his friends Steve and Rosemary.

Lorenzo is survived by his loving parents Maria Reyes and David Martinez; stepfather John L. Putzu Jr.; his brothers Richard Reyes, David Martinez, George Martinez, Justin Martinez; his sisters Priscilla Pena, Crystal Varela; his stepdaughters Christiana Rodriguez, Juliette Garza, Danielle Garza; and many aunts and uncles.

Lorenzo is preceded in death by grandparents Ernestina and Santana Reyes, Maria and David Martinez; uncles Raul Reyes, Ernest Reyes; aunts Linda Martinez, Sylvia Garcia; cousins Miguel Silva, Emily Smit, and Rudy Reyes.

Lorenzo was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 3520 South Flores, San Antonio, Texas 78204 on Tuesday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life starting at 6:30 PM.
