Manuel Nicholas Soliz

Manuel Nicholas Soliz passed away on November 10, 2014 at the age of 18. He is survived by his Father: Manuel Soliz, III (Kelly); Mother: Diana Powers (Paul); Brothers: Javier MarcoAntonio Soliz, Ayden Powers; Paternal Grandmother: Raquel A. Soliz; Maternal Grandmother: Diane Seaton; Step Grandparents: Richard Bowles (Julie), Frank Molinar. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather: Manuel Soliz, Jr.; Maternal Grandfather: Fred Seaton and Step Grandmother: Linda Blair.
He was a Senior at James Madison High School. He loved to go hunting with his dad and uncle and loved playing basketball with his friends. Manuel was a Commander in the ROTC program with the dream of becoming a Cadet in the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and joining the Navy.

Visitation will be on Sunday November 16, 2014, 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM. A procession will depart at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 A.M. Mass at St. Monica Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to the Manuel Nicholas Soliz Memorial Fund at Frost Bank.
