Marcos Flores Garcia born February 3, 1969 passed from this life on June 2, 2017 at the age of 48. He was the third child born to Gilbert C. Garcia (deceased) and Irma F. Garcia (deceased). Marcos was a graduate of McCollum High School, where he played football and baseball. He had been a substitute teacher off and on for about 6 years. He simultaneously attended St. Philips College and later Palo Alto College. He worked as a cashier for Western Beverage for 4 years and helped his sister raise his niece and nephew. He also helped to care for his father and his mother. He is survived by his sister, Ernestine Flores Garcia-Ewing and brother, Moises Flores Garcia; nieces, Crystal Marie Garcia, Emerald Vene Ewing, and Stephanie Marie Garcia; great niece, Kylina Marie Bolech; nephews, Kenneth Troy Ewing II, Lucas Allen Garcia, and Matthew Garcia; Marcos will be remembered by various friends and relatives who greatly loved and admired him for his kind heart, his generosity, and his compassion. He greatly believed in the values of love and peace for all. He was a gentle soul who had great faith in God and greatly loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. May he rest peacefully in the hand of God
