Born on September 14, 1946, in Three Rivers, Texas, Maria's life was a tapestry of love, faith, and cherished memories that brought joy to everyone who knew her.
Throughout her life, Maria was a woman who embraced her family with open arms, always prioritizing the bonds that held them together. She was a devoted family-centered individual who radiated a warmth and kindness that uplifted those around her. Her loving nature was complemented by her unwavering faith, as she was indeed a woman of God, guiding her loved ones through both her words and actions.
Maria's passion for life was reflected in her interests, particularly in the joy she found in creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Maria was predeceased by her mother Tommie Trevino; sister Carmen Cadena; and brother Freddy Diaz.
She is survived by her husband Ramiro Garcia Jr.; daughter Norma Alcala (Christopher); grandchildren Alyssa, Asia, and Noah Alcala; sister Eva Palacios; and many other relatives.
