Maria Carmen Mendoza

Maria Carmen Mendoza passed away on September 2, 2018. Carmen was a beautiful, kind and caring person who never met a stranger. She graduated from Jaffet High School in 1977 in San Antonio, TX, where she was active in raising money at the school carnivals and loved to dance…the prom was a special time for her. She worked at McGraw Hill Publishing Company and Goodwill Industries at Randolph Air Force Base for many years.

Carmen was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Jesus Prendez, and her brother, Jose Ramon Parra. Carmen is survived by her three beautiful daughters: Marisela Valenzuela, Monalisa Mendoza and Felicia Mendoza. She’s also survived by her twin sister Maria Belen Valenzuela Oneill (Ben), and sisters Rosario L. Prendez and Teresita Prendez Harbord (Ken). She’s also survived by brothers: Sergio R. Prendez, Eduardo Prendez and Fernando Prendez (Darlene). Carmen was most happy when surrounded by family and she had eight precious grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she shared special moments and love with.
