Maria Idalia Puente

Maria Idalia Puente was born in Monterrey, Mexico on August 22, 1950 to Francisco and Lilia Cervantes and went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, and is now reunited with her loving husband George Fonseca Puente. Dalia is survived by her daughter, Veronica Puente Ruiz; son, Carlos Javier Puente; grandchildren, Sabrina Renee Ruiz, Richard Rene Ruiz II, Alexander George Ruiz; sisters, Blanca Lilia Cervantes, Nora (Donald) Ontiveros, Rosa Ellia (Joe) Hernandez; and her brother, Francisco (Sandy) Cervantes. She graduated from Highlands High School in 1969 and soon after, in April 1973 married George F. Puente. She was retired from AT&T and always took care of her family. Dalia loved to spoil her grandkids (especially during the holidays), she loved watching the Cowboys and Spurs with her son, she enjoyed dancing with George and never missed Fiesta, she enjoyed baking, yoga, aerobics, meeting with her friends and family for lunch and dinner, shopping with her sisters, and doing crafts with her daughter. Her smile and sweet personality will be greatly missed. Memories of her will be in our hearts and minds forever.
