Born February 4, 1937 in Pittsford, Vermont, Marie C. Carlton entered into eternal rest at the age of 85 years. Marie went to college two years, then joined the Army. She had to leave to start a family. She was a Med Tech.
Marie moved to Texas where she stayed for a number of years. In the 1990’s, she moved to Austin where she worked as a Nanny with her Austin extended families and in a nursery church school. She loved taking care of her babies. She was a singer; she sung those babies to a calming sleep. Marie also sung in the church choir at BUMC for 9-10 years.
Marie loved sports! “Go Spurs Go” – “How About Them Cowboys”. She played baseball when she was young. She was the only girl and the only one that had a baseball. One of her favorite things to do is going to Kickapoo and Las Vegas. She loved her slots.
Marie is survived by her daughters Debbie Carlton, Sandy Ezzo; sister and brother Robby Greeno along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
