Marion “Olive” Rodriguez passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 14, 2015 at the age of 65. Although she lost her battle with cancer, she entered into her eternal rest with dignity and grace. She is survived by her beloved, Earl Harris, her sons’ Tony Rodriguez (Gloria), Daniel Rodriguez Jr. (Samantha), daughter Mitzi Rodriguez (Herb), her surviving sisters’, Belinda Ramirez (Frank), Letty Sablo (Armando), Connie Wilson (Othell), her brothers’, Valentine Gutierrez Jr. (Alice) and Rene Gutierrez. Nine grandchildren, Two great grandchildren, Three pets (Tigger, Burgess and Pappi), numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with many more relatives and friends.
Olive was a beautiful person inside and out. She never knew limits in loving anyone, to her; you were “everything.” To say she was a selfless mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, loving sister, nurturing aunt and caring cousin would only limit who she was to us. Olive was an amazing woman with a heart of gold who loved and lived for her family and took every opportunity to cease the moment and live life to the fullest. She has touched many lives and has always left a lasting impression. She was a joyful woman that always kept us laughing. Family gatherings, vacations and trips to the casino are what she loved best. We thank the Lord for sharing her with us and the blessing of having her in our lives. We are deeply saddened to lose her. She is, and will always be, truly missed and will forever live in our hearts!

At the family’s request; a private “celebration of life” will be held at a later date
