Marion Willoughby

Marion Willoughby, born December 16, 1919, passed from this life on November 29, 2010 at the age of 90. She attended nursing school from 1939 to 1942. She served as a nurse during World War II and completed two tours of service in 1950. Marion went on to work for the Baptist Health System in 1963 until she retired in 1999. She also worked for the Nix Health System from 1972 until 1992. She was a hardworking mother and an exemplary provider. She was a faithful member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and various charities. Marion was also an avid fan of college sports and enjoyed big band music. She is survived by her son, Leslie E. Latham; daughters, Marion A. Latham, Penelope Latham, Cynthia Latham; sisters, Claire W. Davis, Gladys W. Menefee; grandchildren, Misty L. Vincent, Leslie A. Latham; and great-grandchildren, Melinda and Katelyn. She will be greatly missed. In Lieu of flowers the next time you donate to your favorite charity add a little extra for Marion.

It was Ms. Willoughbys wish to be cremated. Her family will take the cremated remains to Virginia.
