Marjorie Violet Satterthwait

Marjorie Violet Satterthwait, age 76 of McQueeney, died at her home Tuesday June 2, 2009. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 1, 1933 to Fred Yablinsky and Violet Hildenbrand. Known as Marj to all her friends and family she was a homemaker and a wonderful mom for over 50 years. In her early years she was an avid rock hound traveling from coast to coast digging and collecting. She loved traveling the west and exploring old ghost towns as well as a passion for organic gardening. In 1977 she moved back to Texas and settled in McQueeney. Marj was precededin death by her brothers Kenneth and Edward. She is survived by her sons Donald, of Indiana, and Joseph, of McQueeney, her brother Fred Yablinsky of North Carolina. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
