Marsha Ann Kindred

Marsha Ann Swanzy Kindred passed away peacefully with her family on July 20, 2016.Marsha had battled cancer for eight years. Marsha was 65 years old when she went to be with the Lord. She was born in 1951 in Port Arthur Texas to Reagan and Marshalene Swanzy. Marsha is survived by her Husband of 45 years Jerry Kindred: daughters, Brandi Kindred and Becki Kindred; grandchildren Ciara and Alyssa; Brother: Russell Swanzy and Sister: Belinda Swanzy. The world lost a multifaceted beautiful lady. Marsha was the wife of a 40 year educator, who had many opportunities as Head Coach/ Athletic Director and School Administrator. Marsha would serve many roles during those 40 years from secretary, Head Cheerleader Mother/Sponsor, sandwich-equipment manager at AAU summer track meets and many roles as nurse – counselor. Many successful Athletic Banquets were the result of her amazing ability to organize everything. Marsha provided thousands of meals for athletes and coaches during her Christian Loving lifetime.  The world is a much better place because of Marsha! Marsha and Jerry met at Tyler Jr. Co. in 1969 and were married in 1971. Marsha loved to fish and her passion was the beach at Port Aransas. Marsha traveled Texas and New Mexico in support of her family. A memorial service will held Sat. August 27 at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M.  Near Colmesneil Texas  75938 (County Road 3725, Just off Hwy 255, 10 miles East of Hwy 69)
