Marta G Vasquez

Marta Vasquez departed this world peacefully on Feb. 2,2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on Nov. 22,1940 to Virginia Guerrero and Eusebio Guerrero in Lubbock TX.

Marta is preceded in death by her husband Jose Luz Vasquez and her son Juan Jose Vasquez and fur baby Juji.

She has left behind her 9 children and their spouse's Linda and Larry Cruz, Racheal Eccelfield, Eusebio Vasquez, Rosie and Daniel Perez, Anita Vasquez, Christina Vasquez, Carlos and Sandra Vasquez, Sandra Vasquez, Gloria V. Rabago and 26 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren who all will miss her dearly.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at 4pm on Feb. 15,2024 at Puente and sons Funeral Chapels. Marta was passionate about gardening and creating beauty for all to see. If she wasn't attending to her garden, she was spending time with her family whom she dearly loved. Most importantly Marta's faith was a big part of her life. She instilled her love for GOD on to others and anyone who was willing to learn about God. She was a member for many years of the Guadalupana's at Our lady of Grace Catholic Church. Marta will forever be in our hearts and memories.
