Mary A Sheppard

Mary Torres Sheppard, 88 years old, from San Antonio, Texas has left this Earth on August 9, 2021 after a long bout with dementia.
Mary lived a full and happy life, born January 21, 1933 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Esther and Gregorio Torres. She married Wayne Sheppard, Sr. on January 15, 1956 after a 6 month courtship. Together they had six children with 26 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren over the 65 years.
She will join her eldest son, Greg Sheppard, her parents, siblings and numerous relatives and friends.
Mary worked hard all her life and took great care of her family. Mary enjoyed having a good time, cooking, hosting family functions at her home, trips to casinos and going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras parades. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids by attending their games, sewing and making candied apple & cotton candy. She will always be greatly loved and missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne, and children Mary (David), Wayne (Kathy), Bill (Donna), Marlene (Richard) and Jean (Chris).
