Mary Irene Martinez

Mary "Irene" Martinez, born August 17, 1951 passed from this life on July 26, 2014 at the age of 62. She is preceded in death by her husband: Leopoldo C. Martinez Jr.; parents: Francisco and Margarita Garcia; and her loving sister: Olivia Gonzalez. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her sons, Leopoldo Martinez (Nelly), and Jerry Martinez; daughters, Cynthia Ibarra, Nancy Martinez, Roxanne Ramos (Felix), and Anita Orta (Tomas); brother, Francisco Garcia Jr.; sisters, Janie McCauley, and Beatrice Ortega; 19 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and close friend, Robert Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Mary was a loving mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed music, eating sweets, with ice cream being one of her favorites. Mrs. Martinez lived life to the fullest and took pleasure in all that it had to offer. She will be greatly missed.
