Megan Stella Hernandez

Megan Stella Hernandez, a beloved soul who brightened the lives of those around her, passed away on March 14, 2023. Megan will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Her adventurous nature led her to enjoy concerts, music, and the colorful art of tie dye. Megan's warm personality made her the life of every gathering, embodying the true essence of joy.

Megan's family meant everything to her, and she cherished spending precious moments with her husband, John Eric Arredondo, her children: Penelope, Anthony, and Malikai . She shared a special bond with her parents, David and Stella Hernandez, as well as her step-father, George Hawes. Megan leaves behind a legacy of love for her siblings: Henry Rios, George Hawes, Jake Hernandez, Alexis Hawes, and Julianne Rios.

In addition to her immediate family, Megan is survived by her grandparents Fernando and Julie Rios, which was their "Red", along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will always hold her memory dear.

Services to honor and celebrate Megan's life will take place on March 22, 2024. The visitation will be held at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels in San Antonio from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A prayer service will held at 12:00PM (noon) at the same location.

During this time of mourning and reflection, may we find solace in remembering how Megan touched our lives with laughter and love. She will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of happiness and positivity.

Rest in peace, dear Megan Stella Hernandez. Your light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew you.
