Melanie Lee Garcia

Melanie Lee Garcia, born March 27, 1987 passed from this life on July 9, 2014 at the age of 26. She is survived by her parents, Manuel Garcia, and Alice G. Trevino; daughters, Serenity Jasmine and Melody Violet Reyes; brothers, Joe (Janet) and Johnny Alcorta; sisters, Michelle and Lisa Garcia, Stephanie (David) McKinnon, Jeanette (Jon) Quintanilla; paternal grandmother, Elia Garcia; close friend, Richard Portillo; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tereso and Vicoria Gonzales, her paternal grandfather, Agapito Garcia, and her stepfather, John Hernandez. Melanie was a very religious, generous, big hearted person who never had any negative thoughts. She always had a big smile and never wanted to worry anyone about her problems. Melanie enjoyed reading and loved her children tremendously. She will be greatly missed.
