Michael Keller, born on March 30, 1966, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Bill and Pat Keller passed away on January 2, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, camaraderie, and culinary excellence.
Throughout his life, Michael was well-known for his career driving 18-wheelers across the United States, where he forged many lifelong friendships along the way. His passion extended beyond the road; he was an accomplished chef who delighted family and friends with his culinary skills.
Michael also served in the U.S. Navy for over eight years, providing a service to his country that earned the gratitude of many. His commitment to his country and community was evident throughout his life.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Patricia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 and a half years, Krista, who was a constant support in all his endeavors. Michael is also survived by his father Bill and his brother Joe, along with Joe's family. He was a proud father to his sons Kevin Keller, who is married to Megan, along with their daughter Kira, and Steven Keller, who is married to Kali, along with their children Lincoln, Rylynn, Arabella, Amias and Veralye. Michael cherished his role as a grandfather bringing joy to their lives through his presence and affection.
A memorial service honoring Michael's life will be held on January 29, 2025, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, beginning at 11:15 AM, with the service concluding at 11:30 AM.
Michael Keller will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit and warmth will continue to resonate within the hearts of his family and friends.
