Michael Villarreal, age 71, passed away June 1, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas,
He was born December 27, 1947 in Del Rio, Texas to Joe and Emma Villarreal.
He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, who served his country in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys with family, Working in his garden,
However, his true passion was always bowling. Most dear to him was retiring and being able to spend time with his grandchildren, Even though Mike didn't have any daughters, he saw his daughter-in-law, Melissa as his own,Because of his kindness and compassion, she in turn saw him as her own father. His 4 sons had many childhood friends, but one stands out the most, Ryan McNeely. His closeness to the family brought much joy, that he saw Ryan as his fifth son. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Emma Villarreal,
his grandparents, Louie and Josie McKee. He is survived by his wife, Evangelina T. Villarreal,
His sons,Michael (Melissa) Villarreal, Amando Villarreal, Joe Villarreal, Ricky Villarreal
Three grandchildren, Evalisa, Xavier and Sebastian Villarreal
Three brothers,Raul (Dora) Villarreal, Joe Villarreal Jr, Richard (Amy) Villarreal,
sister, Mary (Abraham) Torres and numerous nephews and nieces.
The Villarreal family would like to thank the Veteran's Administration staff
for their excellent care and concern during our stay at their facility.
