Nancy Kay Dawe

Nancy Kay (Karnes) Dawe passed away peacefully from cancer, to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the age of 69 in Universal City, TX. Nancy was born in West Frankfort, IL on January 24, 1946 to Roscoe and Ina Karnes.
Nancy retired from Southwest Airlines reservation center located in San Antonio, TX after 16 years in 1999. She spent her retirement years enjoying her grandchildren and life with her husband of 40 years.
Nancy is survived by her husband and children: Greg Dawe, Bradley E. Dawe and wife Francis, James M. Dawe and wife Verlin, Lisa K. Trafton and husband Edward; several grandchildren; her honorary daughters Joy Evans and Angie Sherar. She was preceded in death by her parents; Roscoe and Ina Karnes, her in-laws Charles and Alma Dawe, one step-son Christopher Dawe and several brothers and sisters.
Nancy will be interned at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date. The family will have a Celebration of her life on Sunday October 25, 2015 from 2-5pm at her residence in Universal City, TX.
