Nicolas Gonzalez

It is with a heavy heart to announce that our strongest pillar of the family had been called home to the Lord on May 12, 2019 at 5:12pm in his home in San Antonio at the age of 86. Nicolas Gonzalez was born on September 11, 1933 in Texas.
Tata, Nick, Dad....., Nicolas Gonzalez was the person who took care of his household, and his family. Despite all the obstacles life threw at him, at us, he did not shy away from any of them. He taught his children, grandchildren, and the following generations to be strong and deal with the challenges gracefully, because we are the Gonzalez. He had always been a hard worker, built his own home, held a construction business for decades, and possessed several skilled trades as he had never stopped learning. He was a great teacher, always passing his knowledge to his children and the next generations and ensured they value the importance of work. We are absolutely heart broken to lose the strongest pillar of our home and we are trying our best to hold this home together.
He is survived by his wonderful wife, Maria R Gonzalez; 3 siblings, 5 children, Nick Jr, Manual, Kathy, Randy, and Moses; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
