Nora Garza, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on September 18, 1965, to the late Hermina Garza, Nora lived a life full of love, compassion, and dedication.

Nora leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her devoted husband, Carlos Bracamonte, who stood by her side. Her children, April (Greg), Joey, Steven (Richard), and Mark (Lisette), will forever cherish the countless memories they created together. Nora was also the proud grandmother to seven amazing grandchildren: Emery, Zachary, Avery, Julian, Mason, Livia, and Ryan, who brought immense joy to her life and lit up her world.

Nora dedicated over 30 years of her life to nursing. She took immense pride in her job, and her dedication to her profession was second to none. Known for her gentle touch and warm smile, Nora constantly went above and beyond, not only for her patients but also in ensuring her colleagues felt supported. You could often find Nora taking the initiative to make sure the job was done right. She held her supervisor title with great leadership, always ready to lend a hand and offer kind words. Nora was admired for showing others how to help and learn, embodying the true spirit of teamwork and mentorship.

A memorial service to celebrate Nora’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM in San Antonio, Texas. Friends and family are invited to come together, share stories, and remember the wonderful person who made the world a better place just by being in it.

As we say goodbye to Nora, we hold onto the beautiful memories and the lessons she taught us about love, kindness, and living life to the fullest. Her legacy of compassion and joy will continue to inspire us every day.
