Norma Y. Alonzo, age 71, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was
born June 27, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas to Gloria Irving and Daniel Ybarra. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Irving; stepfather, George Defore; grandmother, Hilaria Kibler; grandfather, Denver Kibler. Norma is survived by her husband, Ruth Alonzo; children, Rebecca Flores, Carlos C. Flores III, Pablo R. Flores, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Flores, daughter-in-law, Amelia A. Flores; grandchildren, Jacob A. Flores, Maria Flores, Victoria N. Flores, Brison Antoine Sr., Alexandria G. Flores, Gabriella D. Flores, Xavier R. Lopez, Reymundo Lopez III, Nikolas A. Flores, Isaiah D. Flores, Lucian G. Flores, Brooklyn A. Flores; great-grandson, Brison Antoine Jr.; sister, Yvonne Hyde; niece, Katrina Hyde; fur-babies, Blossom, Bella, and Diamond as well as numerous extended family members and a lifetime of friends.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 11:00 am at Gardens at Old
