Norman Russell Henderson

Norman Russel (Sandy) Henderson, TSgt USAF (Retired) passed away on 24 June 2020 at Ft. Sam Houstion San Antonio Medical Center. He served in the military 21 years, 6 months and 18 days. He retired on 31 July 1975. Norman continued to live in the San Antonio area.

He was born 28 February 1935 in Lake Village, Indiana, to Russell S. Henderson and Loretta B. (Lawbough)

He is survived by Mary F. (Hunt) Henderson his loving wife of 61 years; daughter: Donna P. Ward of Tacoma, Washington; sisters: Arema B. Hinkle of Sumava Resorts, Indiana, Wanda E. Glasson, of Sikeston, Missouri, Patricia A. (Richard) Harvill of Metropolis, Illinois and Karen L. Henderson of Brookport, Illinois; brothers: David S. (Annie) Henderson of Metropois, Illinois and Richard J. (Shery) Henderson of Schertz, Texas.

He is preceded in death by both parents, sisters: Nedra L.Henderson, Virginia E.Garrity, Lois P. Henderson and Carol Sue Studley.

Norman was laid to Rest on 3 August 2020 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
