Olivia B McDougald, a gentle soul who illuminated the lives of those around her, was born on October 22, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas. She passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. Olivia's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and warmth, leaving behind cherished memories that will be forever held in the hearts of her family and friends.

Olivia had a passion for playing the lotto, constantly finding joy in scratching tickets, each one a small adventure filled with hope. She was known for her delightful conversations with family over the phone, where her caring nature always shone through. Her loved ones knew that she had a special knack for nurturing those around her, making everyone feel valued and heard. Olivia had a particular fondness for cakes adorned with coconut, which often made its way into family gatherings, symbolizing the sweetness she brought into their lives.

Olivia is survived by her devoted sons, Alfredo and Fidel Garcia; her daughter, Vickie Trevino, they will carry her spirit in their hearts. She was the adoring sister to Sammy, Adam, Raymond, David, Carlos, Rebecca, Francis, Suzy, Anita, and Fanny, whose memories of her kindness and laughter will continue to echo in their lives. As a proud grandmother, her legacy endures through Brittany, Miranda, Isaac, and numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sons-in-laws, and daughters-in-laws, all whom she adored and cherished deeply.

Olivia joins her beloved husband, Richard Villarreal, in eternal rest, as well as her daughter, Cynthia Garcia, her sons, Danny Garcia and Ernest Garcia, and her grandson, Danny Jr. Garcia, who all await her in the embrace of loving memories.

Family and friends are invited to honor Olivia's memory during the visitation at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-South in San Antonio on April 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 6:30 PM. The community that loved her is encouraged to gather and share stories of her warmth, vibrant spirit, and the love she generously shared throughout her life.

Though Olivia's physical presence has departed, her legacy of love and kindness will forever reside in the hearts of those she touched. She will be missed dearly, yet celebrated lovingly, as her life continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
