Oscar Escobedo Jr.

Oscar Escobedo Jr., 38 yrs old, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2019. Oscar was born January 3, 1981. He will be reunited with his Father , the late, Oscar Escobedo Sr. He will be buried at the Escobedo family plot joining his Grandmother Carmen Y. Escobedo, Uncles Joe R. Escobedo and Luis A. Escobedo. Though he lived a short life, he lived life with joy in his heart and always generous to anyone in need. Oscar was a devoted Father and husband and enjoyed fishing, hunting and a jack of all trades. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed coaching his daughter’s t-ball and softball teams. Oscar leaves behind his wife Crystal, daughter’s Jezebel-12 yrs. old, Sophia-10 yrs. old and Carmela-5 yrs. old. Mother Linda Escobar, Step Father Lorenzo. Brothers Jonathon Escobedo, Michael Escobedo, wife Amanda. Mother in law and Father in law Rose Paredez and the late Oscar G. Paredez Sr. Sister in law Veronica Shirk, husband Robert Shirk, Brother in laws Oppie Paredez and Oscar Paredez Jr. Numerous nephew’s, nieces and extended family. We are thankful to all the family and friend’s who have supported us through this untimely event.
Funeral Services are as followed, Thursday November 21, 2019 at Puente & Sons Chapel- 3520 S. Flores St. San Antonio, TX. 4PM viewing, 6PM prayer service, 7PM rosary.
Burial Services, November 22, 2019, Meet at Funeral Home at 9:30 AM
Mass at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church-8510 S. Zarzamora St. San Antonio, TX 78224 at 12 Noon followed by burial at First Memorial Park Cemetary 20567 Hwy 16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
