Patricia A. Fietsam

Patricia Ellison Fietsam beloved daughter of Cal and Loraine Ellison of Midland, Texas passed away peacefully in San Antonio, Texas Jan 25, 2023, at The Village at Incarnate Word. 

Pat was born in Lubbock, Texas and graduated from Midland High School in 1958. She attended Our Lady of the Lake University and Trinity University in San Antonio where she received her Master of Arts in 1974.

She joined the Benedictine Convent located in Boerne, Texas for twelve years, known as Sister Ann Marie

For several years following, Pat enjoyed singing with the Master Singers under the direction of Roger Melone.

Active in St Helena’s Catholic Church, she met and married Henry J. Fietsam of Shiner, Texas. She taught at a St. Benedict’s, Holy Spirit and Stahl Elementary in San Antonio, Texas. After they retired Pat and Henry enjoyed the hobby of working with stained glass, which included Tiffany style lamps and beautiful suncatchers.

Henry preceded her death in 2009.

Pat leaves behind two sisters, Marty Stone Wright of Grand Prairie, Mary Ellison of Arlington and two nieces Blair Stone Grohman of Seattle and Molly Stone of Austin and many wonderful friends.
