Patricia Ann Guajardo Willits

Patricia Guajardo Willits, age 68, passed away on October 14, 2019 in Live Oak, TX. Pat was born in El Paso, Texas on April 21, 1951 to parents Ricardo and Alicia Guajardo. She was preceded in death by her father, Ricardo Guajardo Sr. She is survived by her mother, Alicia Aguilar Guajardo; daughter, Stephanie M. Vargas; son, Jerry Vargas Jr. and his wife Kelly Vargas; grandchildren, Madison and Tyler Vargas;sisters, Diane G. Najera and Francetta Guajardo; brother, Ricardo Guajardo Jr.; and numerous family members and friends.

Pat lived in El Paso, TX and attended Del Norte Heights, Bel Air High School, and the University of Texas at El Paso where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education. She retired from the Clint Independent School District as a Special Education teacher in 2015. Soon after her retirement, she moved to San Antonio, TX to join her sisters. Pat loved cooking, shopping, and traveling with family. She had a beautiful smile and gave great hugs to all who met up with her. She loved her children and grandchildren and was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Her family wishes to thank all the nurses, caregivers, volunteers, and doctors at the Methodist Hospital Blood Cancer Unit for all their kindness, compassion and excellent medical care these past seven months. As well as the Emergency Trauma unit at Northeast Methodist Hospital.

Pat will be greatly missed. Her memory will be held closely in the hearts of her loved ones and friends.
