Pearl Watkins

Pearl Minnie (Otto) Watkins was born on June 22, 1927, and Passed away from natural causes on August 4, 2021.

Pearl graduated from Luther Institute Highschool in 1945 and began her career at CM&H Offset Printing Co Chicago. She was then a Payroll Clerk at Stanford University, California from 1947-1950 and became a Sales Clerk at J.C. Penney, CA.

Pearl was a lifetime member at both Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and at Mojave Valley Senior Citizens in Barstow, California. She loved giving back to the community and became a volunteer teacher for Sunday school, vacation bible school, and catechism classes. She serviced at Concordia Crafters, and Concordia Chrismon Group as well.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Harold C. Watkins, Her son John Harold Watkins, and her Grandson Steven P. Daugherty. She was survived by her children: Charles (Anna) Watkins, Lydia (Thomas) Daugherty, and Sandra (Terence) Jenkins, her nieces and nephews, followed by her thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
