Pedro E. Martinez

Pedro "Pete" E. Martinez, bornAugust 20, 1967,passed away surrounded by family and loved oneson February 11, 2010, at the age of 42. Pete fought a brave battle against cancer. He worked as a warranty administrator at a local car dealership. Pete was a 1985 Harlandale High School graduate. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Irene Campa Martinez; his mother, Elena Martinez;his sisters, Graciela Herrera, Maria Martinez, Melinda (Davood) Tokmehdash, Delia (Anthony) Willborn;his brothers, Rolando (Alma) Martinez, Robert (Imelda) Martinez,Mark (Lisa) Martinez; seven nieces, including goddaughter, Adrianna Lorraine Martinez; seven nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Santiago and Maria Campa of Elmendorf; five brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and a large extended family. Petewas preceded in death by his father, Pedro B. Martinez and grandmother, Maria Enriquez. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Pete will be missed, but we know he is in a better place.

Visitationwill be Saturday, February 13th,from 10am until 8pm and Monday, February 15th, from2pmuntil 8pm withHoly Rosary to be recited at 6pm.

A10am Mass of Thanksgiving will be held Tuesday, February 16that St. John Berchmann's Catholic Church located at 1147 Cupples Road.
