Policarpo Escalante

Policarpo V. Escalante passed away peacefully surrounded by all his family March 24, 2010 at 11:05 pm. He was born in Huejuquilla El Alto Jalisco Jan 6, 1931. Born the fourth of seven siblings he is preceded in death by his first wife Guadalupe Cruz, his children Eddie, Justino, Antonia, andbrothers and sisters.He is survived by his wife, Juana Escalante, son Victor and daughters Martha, Lurdes, Isabel and Yolanda as well as twelve grandchildren.
He is remembered for his love of ranching as a talented and gifted farmhand. He had a love of gardening. He was generous with the fruits of his hands, giving away much of what he grew in his garden.
All his family and friends will remember his story telling and the special way in which he touched their lives.

Viewing and visitation is Friday March 26,2010 from 3:00-8:00PM at Puente and Sons FuneralChapels 14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, with final services on Saturday March 27 at 9:00AM Puente Sonsand internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
