He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Mrs. Rosa Iruegas; his sons, Alex Leija and Saul Iruegas; his daughters, Rosa Iruegas, Bella Artemisa Iruegas, Raquel Iruegas, and Lydia Elisa Iruegas; his sister, Maria Chapa; 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
