Raymond Wescott Cline

Raymond Wescott Cline passed peacefully in his home on Christmas morning. Ray was born in Baltimore, Md October 3, 1926 to Wilmer Cline and Viola Wescott Cline Gordon. He served honorably in WWII as an Army paratrooper, married Betty Goza Cline and moved to Texas where he started his family. Ray was a successful and respected business owner in Houston and Ft. Worth. He and his wife Betty later moved to San Antonio in 1999 to retire and be close to their granddaughters. Ray and will be interred in the columbarium at St. Thomas joining his wife, Betty Goza Cline and his daughter, Lori Ann Cline Schlicher. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Susan Cline, granddaughters Kelli Marie Schlicher and LeeAnn Wescott Schlicher, son in law Dan Schlicher, Jr., brother Wilmer (Bill) Cline and wife Jerri Cline, brother in law Tommy Goza and wife Linda Goza and numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial gifts can be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or School.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Episcopal Church located at 1416 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Tx 78232.
