Rebecca G. Gomez, a beloved mother, and devoted grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on August 14, 1950, Rebecca was known for her remarkable personality, characterized by her great listening skills and the phenomenal advice she readily provided to those around her. Her life was a testament to love, kindness, and the joy of family.

Throughout her life, Rebecca cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, relishing every moment spent with her grandbabies. She created a home filled with warmth, where hugs and kisses were a common language. Her friends and family remember her as someone who loved everyone, always teaching valuable lessons with the best intentions at heart.

Rebecca had a vibrant spirit that shone through her many hobbies and interests. She found joy in playing Bingo, embraced the beauty of music, and loved to dance. These passions brought her happiness and were shared in countless moments with her family and friends.

Her legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her sons Albert and Reuben, and her daughter Arlene. She is also survived by daughters-in-law Jenny and Roxanne, along with her brothers Robert, Jimmy, Octaviano, and David, and her sisters Margie and Martha.

Rebecca was preceded in death by many cherished family members, including her spouse Jose and their sons Joe and Anthony. She also joins her parents, Leonides and Maria Guzman, brothers Leonides Jr., Angel, and Albert, as well as sisters Cristina, Lucy, Betty, and Nora, and daughter-in-law Gina.

The visitation will take place on March 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, South, located at 3520 South Flores Street, San Antonio, TX 78204, followed by a Prayer Service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A Graveside Service will be held later that day at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd., San Antonio, TX 78214, starting at 1:30 PM.

Rebecca G. Gomez will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
