Reymundo Reyna, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 7, 2023. Born on June 28, 1950, in Eagle Pass, TX, he was the son of Raul Reyna Sr. and Oralia Garcia. Reymundo's life was filled with love, adventure, and a deep sense of duty.

Reymundo had an unwavering dedication to his country and served with honor in the Marines. His military service was a testament to his bravery and commitment to defending freedom. He carried the values he learned during his time in the military throughout his life.

Outside of his military service, Reymundo had a passion for sports. He loved cheering on his favorite teams and sharing his enthusiasm with those around him. Whether it was gathered around a television or at a stadium, Reymundo's infectious spirit would uplift everyone in the room.

On August 24, 2023, at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX, friends and family will come together to honor Reymundo's memory during a Memorial Service. The event will be held from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd.

Carolyn Reyna was fortunate enough to be Reymundo's devoted spouse. Reymundo leaves behind daughters Alice Cordova and Oralia Garcia as well as stepchildren Joseph, Michael, and Rebecca; his siblings Raul Reyna Jr., Rolando Reyna, Roger Reyna, Rosario Hernandez, and Romelia Gomez. Their bond as siblings ran deep and provided unwavering support throughout their lives. He is preceded in death by his father Raul Reyna, mother Oralia Garcia, and his two sisters Rachel Reyna, Rosemary SanMiguel, and daughter Cynthia Rae Reyna. 

Reymundo's legacy will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His warm smile, kind heart, and genuine personality touched the lives of many. He will be remembered as a dedicated serviceman, a loving family man, and a loyal friend.

As we mourn the loss of Reymundo Reyna, let us also celebrate his life and the impact he made on those around him. May his spirit continue to guide us and may his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.
