Reynaldo M. Casillas was born on January 29, 1943 and passed away at the age of 80 in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas on September 1, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Margarita Casillas and his sisters Margarita Rodriguez and Sylvia C. Mora. Ray is survived by his wife of over 50 years, M. Dalia Casillas; daughters, J. Patricia Martinez (Raul), Veronica Casillas (Hans) and Valerie Casillas;

Grandchildren, Diandra (Josh) Whitfield, R. Joseph Menchaca, RayAnthony Angel Casillas, Jalisa Casillas, Brandon Casillas, Andrew Casillas and Jeremiah Casillas; Great grandsons, Logan & Lincoln Whitfield and Joseph Casillas. Siblings, Joe Casillas, Velia Hinojosa, Hector (Thoy) Casillas. Several nieces, nephews and friends. He was always the life of the party and had a wonderful sense of humor. Ray's greatest joy was his grandchildren and he left many wonderful memories behind with his family. A special thank you to Terri Hernandez and Vanessa Reyes.
