Reynaldo “Tiny” Ortiz

Reynaldo Tiny Ortiz was born on September 17, 1952 in New Braunfels, Texas, he passed away on May2, 2009 at the age of 56 and was a lifetime resident of New Braunfels.
Tiny loved to spend time with his family and friends. Tiny was huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Some of Tinys passions included fishing, dancing and listening to Tejano music.
Tiny was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio Ortiz, Jr. and Elena Ortiz. Tiny is survived by his wife, Josephine Ortiz and his two sons; Reynaldo Ortiz Jr. and wife Denise Ortiz; Michael Ortiz and Amanda Garcia; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Kinley; three brothers, Juan and his wife April; brother, David and his wife Paulette; brother, Fernando and Rosario; sister, Dory Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tiny will continue to watch over the loves of his life, Josie, Elizabeth, and Kinley.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Aguirre, David Cantu, Raul Cantu Sr. Rudy Castilleja, Alfredo Morales, and Joe Vela.
Visitation will be held Wednesday May 6, 2009 from 10:00am-8:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday May 7, 2009 at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
