Ricardo Ortega, a beloved husband, father, son, uncle, and brother, left this world September 22, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on May 27, 1974, in the vibrant heart of Mexico City, Ricardo's spirit was as warm and inviting as the sunlit beaches he cherished.

Throughout his life, Ricardo embodied the essence of a hardworking individual, dedicating himself to his family and career with relentless determination. Yet, amid his industrious nature, he found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for dancing; whether on the dance floor or at home with loved ones, his infectious energy brought smiles and laughter to those around him. He also delighted in the culinary world, savoring every bite of a well-prepared meal and sharing it with friends and family alike. The beach was his haven-a serene escape where he could feel the sand beneath his feet and the waves crash around him, reminding him of the beauty of life.

Ricardo leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure his memory. He was a devoted husband to Yanira Ortega, whose partnership brought countless joyous moments and unforgettable memories. His legacy lives on through his three sons, Ricardo (Shelby), Rodrigo (Gabriela), and Kevin (Carolina) Ortega, who carry forward the values he instilled in them and the love he shared so generously. The bond he shared with his father, Ramiro Ortega Ruiz, was one rooted in respect and admiration, a relationship enriched by years of shared experiences and conversations.

Ricardo was also a loving brother to Sonia Ortega, who will always hold onto the sweet memories of their childhood together. He was a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Ricardo Glenn Ortega and Alexander Julian Ortega, and Isabelle Shelby Ortega, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Thanks to his family nurse and sister-in-law Claudia and Daniel Polendo. He is survived by his father-in-law, Roberto (Rosa Maria) Lozano, brother-in-law, Roberto Lozano, and sister-in-law Cynthia Lozano, whose support and companionship enriched his life. And not to be forgotten is Tiki Ortega, his faithful pet, who brought love and joy to their family home.

As we honor Ricardo's life, we remember him not only for the amazing contributions he made to his family and community but also for the warmth that radiated from his smile. His spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he has departed from this world, his love and dedication to his family and the memories they created together will live on in their hearts forever.

Ricardo Ortega, un amado esposo, padre, hijo, tío y hermano, dejó este mundo el 22 de septiembre de 2024 en San Antonio, Texas. Nacido el 27 de mayo de 1974 en el vibrante corazón de la Ciudad de México, el espíritu de Ricardo era tan cálido y acogedor como las soleadas playas que tanto apreciaba.

A lo largo de su vida, Ricardo encarnó la esencia de un individuo trabajador, dedicándose a su familia y a su carrera con una determinación incansable. Sin embargo, en medio de su naturaleza trabajadora, encontró alegría en los placeres simples de la vida. Tenía pasión por el baile; ya sea en la pista de baile o en casa con sus seres queridos, su energía contagiosa traía sonrisas y risas a quienes lo rodeaban. También se deleitaba con el mundo culinario, saboreando cada bocado de una comida bien preparada y compartiéndola con amigos y familiares por igual. La playa era su refugio, un escape sereno donde podía sentir la arena bajo sus pies y las olas rompiendo a su alrededor, recordándole la belleza de la vida.

Ricardo deja atrás una familia amorosa que atesorará por siempre su memoria. Fue un esposo devoto de Yanira Ortega, cuya relación le trajo innumerables momentos felices y recuerdos inolvidables. Su legado sigue vivo a través de sus tres hijos, Ricardo (Shelby), Rodrigo (Gabriela) y Kevin (Carolina) Ortega, quienes llevan adelante los valores que les inculcó y el amor que compartió tan generosamente. El vínculo que compartió con su padre, Ramiro Ortega Ruiz, estaba arraigado en el respeto y la admiración, una relación enriquecida por años de experiencias y conversaciones compartidas.

Ricardo también fue un hermano cariñoso para Sonia Ortega, quien siempre conservará los dulces recuerdos de su infancia juntos. Fue un abuelo querido para sus nietos, Ricardo Glenn Ortega y Alexander Julian Ortega, e Isabelle Shelby Ortega, cada uno de los cuales trajo una inmensa alegría a su vida.

Gracias a su enfermera de cabecera u cuñada Claudia y Daniel Polendo. Le sobreviven su suegro, Roberto (Rosa María) Lozano, su cuñado, Roberto Lozano, y su cuñada Cynthia Lozano, cuyo apoyo y compañía enriquecieron su vida. Y no hay que olvidar a Tiki Ortega, su fiel mascota, que trajo amor y alegría a su hogar familiar.
