Robert (Bobby) Barron was born on April 26, 1953 to Mary M Chavez and George M Barron. He passed away on November 28, 2024 at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his mother, his father, son Joseph Barron and granddaughter Alastair Lee Barron. Robert is survived by his wife of 35 years Lourdes Barron, sons Robert Marcus Barron & Jason John Barron and his daughter Stephanie Lee Barron. Robert is also survived by brother Florentino Quintero Jr, his sisters Evangelina Rosas; Yolanda (Joe)Rosas; Rosalinda (Edward) Arcos; and Mary Jane Villanueva. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bobby's devoted companions Tony & Malcolm (his Labrador dogs) are missing him terribly.
Robert proudly served his country in both the Navy and Air Force putting in 21+ years. Upon his military retirement he enrolled at UTSA and he received his Bachelor's degree in Education and taught Special Ed at Jefferson and Edison High Schools. He loved teaching the kids and working with them. He was also an avid writer with some published articles. Robert was a kind, loving soul and would help everyone who needed help and he would never hesitate to give you the shirt off his back if you were in need of it. He will be greatly missed by all who have crossed his path.
